Removing User Accounts

Note

Ifthereisonlyoneadministrator account for the

computer,youcannotdeletetheadministrator

account.

■

Youcanonlydeleteanotheraccountwhenyou

areloggedinasanadministrator.

ClickStart > Control Panel > User Accounts and

Family Safety > User Accounts.

ClickManage Another Account.

Clickontheuseraccounttobedeleted.

ClickDelete the AccountintheMakechangesto

user’saccountmenu.

 Awindowappearsaskingwhetheryouwantto

savethedesktop,documents,favorites,musicles,

picturesandvideofoldersasnewfoldersonthe

Desktopbeforedeletingtheaccount.

IfyouclickDelete les,theaccountandallles

belongingtotheaccountaredeleted.

IfyouclickKeep les,

onlytheaccountisdeleted

andthelesbelongingtotheuseraresavedonthe

Desktop.

Switching User Accounts

 ClickStart ( )onthetaskbarandselectSwitch

User.

 Ifyouclickonanotherusernameinthestartscreen,

youcanloginwiththatuseraccount.
