Frequency
Press the dial-button to change frequency for the probe. Select either Res, Pen or Gen. The selected
frequency will be displayed in the title area.
X Res (Resolution): High frequency
X Gen (General): General frequency
X Pen (Penetration): Low frequency

Focus
Set the number of focusing points. Select a value between 1 and 4 with the dial-button.
■
Ext. Res.
Press the dial-button to turn it on or o. When on, this increases the resolution by increasing the
number of channels. Note that the frame rate falls in proportion to the number of channels. Ext. Res
stands for Extended Resolution.

SRF
SRF stands for Speckle Reduction Filter.
NOTE: This is unavailable when DMR Lite is in the On state
This optimizes an image by minimizing any noise and automatically adjusting the brightness of
outlines. If you set SRF to On by pressing the dial-button, SRF Index is enabled on the menu.

SRF Indexx
SRF Index is displayed on the soft menu only when SRF is set to On. Two preset indexes are provided.
Select index 1 or 2 by using the dial-button.

DMR Lite (Optional)
NOTE:

DMR Lite is an optional item.

This is unavailable when SRF is in the On state.
DMR Lite displays a clearer image by eliminating noise from the image and giving it stronger
outlines. If you set DMR Lite to On by pressing the dial-button, DMR Lite Index is enabled on the
menu.
