Period Time Measurement
In Period Time Measurement the counter uses the internal time base to measure the period time of the
signal present on Counter Source. The counter counts the rising edges of the internal time base which oc-
curs between two rising edges on Counter Source. At the completion of the period interval the counter value
is stored in a register and the counter starts counting from zero. At every Sample Clock ((1), (2), ... (6)) the
register value is read out.
